You Did What With Your New Sign Up?

Follow up send emailThis new person is all excited. You either start a marketing love affair with them or watch them slide off into the sunset looking for a real person to help them.

You have a name and an email address this new person cared enough to supply when they joined you. So what is your next step?

 

What is a Follow Up Email?

Two supposes interact here. Did you receive this person via
a Lead Capture Page or did they join you via a splash page?

In the first instance, they will get a welcome mail sent
out by your auto-responder. In the second instance, you have
to create and send one for each new subscriber.

Once you have an autoresponder series set up, you can leave
the welcome mail idea alone as follow up will happen without
any input on your part.

It is the second variable that causes banned members, inactive
members and puts your accountability in the zero range.

Styling follow up emails to engage your new subscriber

Get down and personal right off the start.  If images engaged
the subscriber, then you need to engage them again, but this
time in getting to know you.

Your style ‘talks’ in words to give out a warm feeling that
can reduce a lot of stress. Take full advantage of this
opportunity to bypass formalities.

Hey! Thank You for joining me.

Manners show here. A warm thank you shows them they mean
something to you. There can never be enough thank yous in
a new relationship.

Are you offering a thank you gift for joining you? If so
and this person is not on your list, then get a page set
up where they give you their name and email address again,
(never know when it could be different) that leads to a
page with the link.

Fast Start Structure to Understanding

The company may have a TOS ~ agreement, a Verification
page or other immediate actions a new person must take
in order to activate their account. Make each need a
clear reminder to save your new subscriber grief.

Then follow  it up with a 1. Join  2. promote 3. Advertise
Try simple three steps to immediate action using your program.
They might be too excited, or short on time to search out
these things so get them up front and in their face as kindly
action reminders.

Getting to know them …

What is their major concern working online?  You will have
a web site with content or a nice blog you are developing
that you can refer them to for help?  Thus what ever their
problems, each response is fodder for a new blog post, for
newsletter content or website value content. Lots of ways
to make a must concern for your new person lead to
solutions.

Signature Files

The life-saver and resource section for your new person
to get comfortable with you. Develop two or three different
ones that focus on what project it is you may be promoting
at the time.

Watch out sending links in emails

Some mail senders will ban you for that. Might turn off your
new subscriber too. Use your sig files to send your new people
on a getting to know you tour of your blog or website.
That is acceptable.

The welcome mail that comes from YOU NOT the company, sets
the stage for the relationship you will have with your new
person. Keep that in mind as well. They ARE a person, a
human being with feelings first and foremost. Thus it will
pay you to meet those feelings head on for a long lasting
relationship.

Support Your Weary Support Staff

The journey that spells success is targeted to winI presume that is a grabber! What can be so wearying about support?

Normally, I would ask the same but after two weeks of carrying the load, I gotta tell you, support staff have my vote. If it wasn’t for corporation CEOs sharing the tip of a five to 10 minutes shut down every hour to let the brain regenerate, I think I would have taken one very long recovery nap.

How can you help?

Read the mails we send out . Like the Cogs & Logs News.
It keeps you on top of your business and gives you a cool tip
now and then. Did you know y commission building you receive
credits for clicking on the link in your solo mails?

Gotta read your mail daily to collect on that one.

Where Do I Go To Surf?

The TOOLS page is your guide to getting around each perk.
Log in to each of your programs now and then, read what
you missed the first time where you enter your URLs you
wish to promote. Not only can you approve them in
10khits4unow and Clickaholics, RED notes are explicit
in a couple of areas:

  • ONE Account only
  • Read the TOS re NO sex, gambling etc
  • 21stCenturySurf is a FAMILY site
  • What is Administration VERIFICATION page
  • Banned members send in a support ticket
  • Submit blog, LCP or splash pages only

Now that is another goodie – READ the TOS. Most member
headaches and being unhappy with Support Staff decisions
come from not understanding the TOS – Agreement on the menu.

Shuck the ‘tude dude.

Read several post replies on the question why people lose
it when they run into a problem then send in rotten support
mails. When you goof, we send you reminder mails on what
you can do to fix it. Read them!.

When we goof we are happy to fix it. Just let us know by
sending us a support heads up ticket with a little tlc?

You are the reason each of our Traffic Exchanges exist.

When was the last time you connected with your
sponsor? I bet you could grow a beard on that one huh?
If your sponsor cares enough to send you a series of
emails from welcome to tips or reminders,then what is
stopping you from replying?

Once you become a sponsor and watch the stats, you
will fully understand. Communication brings about
faster success ratios in whatever you are doing,
and it must be a two way street for it to pan out.

And ‘weary support’ say thank you.

There you have it. A few ways you can support
your weary support staff. Each step makes your
experience a power house so if you are lax in
one, you are weakening the foundation of what
you are trying to accomplish.

To paraphrase Robert Kiyosaki, ‘there is a ton
of hidden magic to be found in a mistake. It’s
called learning.’ Now that spells commissions
to me.
