The Trouble With Ponzis Gamblers Cry Foul

cogs&Logs new US Gaming Commission badge When you go to a casino, the stakes are up front. You gamble and lose, you shrug your shoulders and try again next time. You win, you go home happy because all actions were done on a level playing field. Everyone knows the odds which makes it fun to try to beat them.

Not so with an on line ponzi

When you enter into a ponzi like the Zeekler offer, you go in eyes wide open, greed to the forefront and gamble your reputation.

What most people do not realize is that any form of program that
offers you remuneration without proof of real product, you are
gambling and that puts the program under Gaming Commissions
designed to protect users pertaining to each State.

Rex Venture, and Paul Burks, their principal
owner, are accused by the U.S. Securities and Exchange
Commission of raising at least $600 million through unregistered
securities from at least 2.2 million customers nationwide.

Kenneth Bell, the companies’ receiver, defines net winners as
participants who took more money out of the alleged Ponzi scheme
than they had paid in. Bell said July 1 that the choice of
relinquishing money or facing being sued led at least 135 “net
winners” in to pledge to return a combined
$1.82 million.’

Will it end there?

The bottom line of this latest ruling is the net winners
pursued the legal motion in hopes of keeping the money they
had gained. Bell has said he expects to recover at least $312.1
million in assets.

The reason for posting this information is for you to think.
There are more of these programs out there on the net. They
need to be proved as being legal with full products received
for your investment. AND if you make the income off the backs
of the needy then you open the door to being sued for recovery.

Yes it would seem so. Desperation or darned foolishness? Either win you a place in the loser’s circle. If only they would try checking these people out first.
